Combined Adult Classes on January 4th

If God Is Faithful… Then What?

David & Laneida Calabrese
Library - 701
God’s promises are more than comforting words - they are meant to shape real lives. This interactive class explores how God’s faithfulness makes a concrete difference in the way we face fear, make decisions, endure suffering, handle failure, and live with hope. Together, we’ll reflect on Scripture, share experience, and ask what it really looks like to live as people who trust that God keeps His promises.

“’Heroes’ of the Old Testament”

Jeff Shelburne & Brad Thacker
Room 603
Do you love the deep questions of life? Do you love wrestling with God? Is He good? Why are we here? Why is there so much brokenness in this world? Why do we have to go through these struggles? Our story began in Genesis, but we will continue to examine the childhood stories of our faith and examine them from an adult perspective, looking at the fall and continued brokenness of man, the blessings of God, who consistently keeps His promise through the Story we get to live in.

Connections Class: Young Adults
“The Crux of the Story - A deep dive into the myriad mysteries of the cross of Christ”

Jerry Morgan & Adrian Morgan
Hali Room- 401
Over the next ten weeks, we will dig deep into the different streams of theological thought, profound mysteries, and practical applications of the cross of Christ which is literally, the crux of the story of human redemption. In our exploration, we will lean heavily on Brian Zahn’s recent book, “The Wood Between The Worlds.” We believe that this study will deepen your appreciation and understanding of the cross and will strengthen your dedication to the work of Christ on the cross.

RISE Class (Recovery Intersecting Spiritual Experience)

Stephen Smith
Room A2
The Creator & Sustainer of the Universe revealed Himself to the ancient Israelites and their children. His revelation was preserved for us. Let's seek to understand it as they did so we can faithfully apply it to our lives.
